About

About the Don Bosco Community Center

The Don Bosco Community Center is a faith-rooted haven of hope, dignity, and opportunity for children, families, and adults in Port Chester and the surrounding communities. Guided by the spirit of St. John Bosco and grounded in God’s providence, we serve those on the margins with compassion, respect, and unwavering commitment.

Our mission is to empower individuals and families to build lives of stability, growth, and possibility. Through programs that nourish the body, strengthen the mind, and support the whole person, we accompany people at every stage of life. From feeding families and educating young children to supporting college-bound students, teaching English learners, and offering safe and joyful summer programs, we work to ensure that every person feels seen, valued, and supported.

We envision a community where dignity, belonging, and opportunity are shared by all—and where every person, especially the young and those most in need, has the chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

Don Bosco Feeds Program

Each day, more families, children, and seniors come to us with their own stories and struggles.

Early Childhood Bilingual Program

Our program prepares preschoolers ages 3 to 5, for kindergarten success through bilingual learning.

College Access Scholars Program

We believe every young person deserves the chance to reach their fullest potential, no matter their background or circumstance.

English as a Second Language

Learning a language opens doors to belonging, builds confidence, and creates new opportunities.

Summer Camp

Summer Camp is more than a program. It is a safe, welcoming space where children are cared for, encouraged, and free to be themselves.

Don Bosco Workers, Inc. Program

At the Don Bosco Community Center, we recognize that meaningful employment is essential to stability and dignity.
